While enjoying some well-earned down time between legs of his Quittin’ Time arena tour, Zach Bryan performed a much more intimate show at a dive bar in New York City. On Tuesday night (September 10), the country star played a surprise pop-up show for 50-60 lucky patrons at Ray’s Bar, a cozy watering hole on the Lower East Side. Bryan didn’t give much notice to fans, writing on X, “pop up at Rays Bar at 11:30,” only an hour before the announced show time. In a fan-captured TikTok video, Bryan is shown performing in a corner booth while joined by his guitarist and fiddle player, playing stripped down renditions of his country hits like “Revival” and “Nine Ball.” Bryan will continue his Quittin’ Time tour with a series of Canadian and West Coast shows in November, before returning to New York to finish up his tour right before Christmas with a two-night stint at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 18-19.
